“One of the most pervasive political movements going on outside Washington today is the disciplined, passionate, determined effort of Republican governors and legislators to keep most of you from voting next time,” says Bill Clinton in Rolling Stone. He’s not lying. We’re witnessing a strategic effort to exclude Americans from voting in the coming elections. The GOP is working to “cut the fat,” in their eye, through state-by-state legislation that makes it harder for you to vote. Most of these new laws target people who normally do not have government-issued identification, and unsurprisingly, most of the people who fall under this category normally vote Democrat. And of course, the African-American community is hit the hardest by this insane attempt to turn America into a full-fledged red state.
Only a loser would work this hard to manipulate a voting system instead of trusting the system that has been in place since the dawn of America’s time. And unless individual members of these targeted communities respond with a “vote or die trying” attitude, we will let a bunch of losers run our country. Even worse, America will fall victim as so-called “undeveloped” and “third world countries” have after violent coups and continual rigged elections.
The following states have passed laws that may potentially bar large populations from voting:

The Republican party clearly does not trust the American populace to vote for the right leader, and instead deems itself entitled to ruin us. And while I can’t say I’m surprised by the GOP’s antics, I am baffled that they continue to pretend that Obama is actually liberal. He has conceded time and time again. Obama is about as close to being a liberal warrior as Madonna is to not loathing hydrangeas. Why on earth do the Republicans insist that they need to be forced into power under these conditions? No one in office is genuinely liberal.
I’m not thrilled with Obama’s performance during his first term, but I cannot allow a bunch of losers to take office. If you are low-income, Black, Latino, or in college, and you live in one of the above states (especially Florida and Ohio), do whatever you can to make sure your community is represented in the elections.
